This Kansas City style BBQ hired me to expand their branding and marketing as they prepared to open. While they already had a strong logo, they wanted slight modifications to make it more crisp and clean looking at any size.
We opted for classic gold leaf and black on the window signage, and designed foil-stamped letterpress business cards to complement both the windows and the highly-polished brass elements here and there in the interior.
I traveled to Amsterdam to get a sense of the space, the experience, and the neighborhood. We focused on lush images of the restaurant to contrast the clean, sparse menu pages. I also designed a map to orient customers, as the restaurant is in a part of the city not automatically familiar, especially visitors to the city. BBQ sauce labels are in process as well.
